Who Isn't Watching the Superbowl?

     THIS GIRL!
That's right, I said it.  I spent my time watching the Golden Girls, Gargoyles, and Pride and Prejudice for the sixth or seventh time this weekend instead.  I would have watched it had say, the Cowboys or the Colts played.  But the Patriots and Giants? Ew.  I'm not a fan of either nor will I ever be.
Seriously, the Golder Girls or the Superbowl?  Which sounds more entertaining?  Watching three middle aged woman and an old lady have a good time or men tackling each other in tights?  Granted, the men in tights are attractive and I love a good high school football game but it's just not that fun to watch through the tube.  I think I'll stick to my old ladies and 90 sitcoms.  They make me happier than the handful of funny commercials.

  1. But you missed all the funny commercials! I liked the cheetah chasing the man, the dog burying the cat, and one other that I can't remember so it must not have been that great.
I admit to watching the game. It was pretty good for once.
And as for the live or on the tube. In my opinion high school games are good live where you can see the game and have small crowds of people you know having fun. Pro games are much better on the tube because with those live games you can't even see what is going on, people you don't know doing things they wouldn't if they knew the crowd, they cost too much, and traffic!
    Have a great day!

  2. I didn't even turn on the telly. I read two magazines I had bought and not yet perused, and played words with friends on my iPad.... a much better evening than sitting and watching thugs on the telly.

  3. yeah no one I cared about played this year. Only thing we used the supper bowl for was to knock on doors and sell girl scout cookies at half time. :) That worked really well! Every one was in a snacky mood watching the game :)
