Coco is home! She just showed up on our front porch this morning, all quiet and tired. She appears to have some tendon or muscle damage to one of her back legs, but other wise she is in total health.
SO HAPPY!!!
And I'd like to thank everyone for their support and helpful comments!
What exciting news! Who knows what tales Coco could share :)

I'm so very happy for you & your mom! My heart was beraking for you. Great news!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Coco has come home, and I know how relieved you must be. That is one lucky dog to have people who care for her as much as you and your mom do.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness! Saw that wonderful pic of Coco and her girl gazing at each other and before I even saw the post title I knew it was good news. Had just been telling my mom about the missing Coco while we sat at the coffee house and had coffee, then checked for updates, gasped, and said to my mom "I think Coco's back!"
ReplyDeleteSo while we are on the subject of happy dog stories, here is another book recommendation for you. It is a novel I am reading now, and it has a lot about dogs, including one very good dog named Almondine (which I think is such a cool name I want to get a dog and name her that). The book is "The Story of Edward Sawtelle", by David Wroblewski. It is a debut novel for Wroblewski, and what a debut it is. I'm right in the middle of it, and enjoying it a great deal. It came out in 2008, so there's a good chance the library has it if you want to check it out and see if you like it as much as I am liking it.
